Predictive Texting
April 22nd, 2008 by karenanderson and tagged mobile, T9, textingWhen I was your age mobile phones hadn’t been invented. In fact not everyone had access to a phone in the home only 25% of households had them. I have a mobile but I tend to only use it for emergencies. I take it with me when I go out in the car, in case I need to phone for help if the car breaks down.
Today in the UK there are more mobiles than people. The number of texts that are sent daily is incredible. Last New Years day in the UK alone over 214 millions texts were sent! No wonder the texts people sent me saying Happy New Year took so long to arrive.
In today’s lesson we are going to learn to use predictive texting. We will use the knowledge that we get to help us to make a Podcast so that we can explain to other people how to use this feature on their phones.
Dont know what a podcast is? Watch this.
